Well, this tank of mine has been planted for 4 months without any fertilizer and i would say the plants are not complaining. They are all low demanding plants for sure but i guess if you give them an optimum environment (nutritious soil, good lighting, rich co2, good water flow, frequent water change etc), the requirement or dependency on water column fertilizer can be reduced.


This is not my contest tank, just something i do in between the contest season so that i dont keep an empty tank in the middle of my living room. It will be dismantled this week for my IAPLC 2022 project. It is going to be a fun project !

2-3 times per week. 30%
