Comments from Mr. Gireg Allain (France)

At the sight of this aquarium, one can only look on in wonder: What finesse! The work on the roots is simply breathtaking. Every piece of wood, as fine as it is, is perfectly arranged and in total harmony with the others. Regardless of which area we look at, the attention to detail is incredible. The impression given off by this subtle mixture of roots and plants is truly natural, and the whole composition gives a sublime air of a gentle movement, subtle, but perfectly visible. The landscape twists and turns and takes us on a journey, just to a point where our gaze is led to a place where it loses itself in a new mys-tery. There is wood, yes, but if you take your time, you will also discover the rocks. They are discrete but importantly present and remarkably arranged. They complete the composition beautifully, providing an ideal background to give the wood elements their energy. I particularly liked how the entire composition is designed from the depths of the aquarium, almost to the surface. It is always very complicated to work out how to bring a landscape composition to its conclusion at the surface. In this landscape there is no ques-tion, it's perfect. The fish selection (Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi and Hemigrammus bleheri) is modest, but breathes life into this living landscape, making the whole composition dynamic and quite frankly superb. It's just what is needed. No extravagance, just enough to animate the design. Huge congratulations to the designer of this landscape, it took me into a world of dreams! As we lose ourselves in the wonder of this aquarium, we can also see the enormous amount of work involved to achieve such detail. Congratulations, and thank you!
