Cultivation and Care

This plant thrives in nutrient-rich substrate. Regular root fertilization is recommended to maintain vibrant coloration and healthy leaf development. It performs best under medium lighting conditions, where it can maintain its characteristic compact size. While it can survive without supplemental carbon dioxide, growth rates and coloration are significantly improved when CO2 is provided.

Propagation

Propagation is typically achieved through the development of adventitious plantlets on long flower stalks. Once these plantlets have developed a sufficient root system and a few leaves, they can be carefully detached from the mother plant and replanted into the substrate. Occasionally, the rhizome can be divided, though this is less common for this cultivar.
